santa ana marijuana defense attorneyA Glendale man is facing drug charges after police raided a hash oil lab in his garage. Investigators say they found over 40 pounds of marijuana, 181 cans of butane and other items related to the production of “butane honey oil” in the garage of 22-year-old Andrew Hedenberg.

Several homemade labs in Southern California have exploded as the trend of dabbing catches on amongst marijuana users. Dabbing is the practice of vaporizing and inhaling hash oil, which produces a strong high without smoking marijuana. Police say the homemade labs that are producing the oil are put together using information from the Internet and are highly combustible. An explosion can be triggered by the spark of turning on a light switch or from static electricity.

Police found the lab after responding to the home on a domestic violence call from Hendenberg, who said his girlfriend assaulted him. After finding the lab, he was arrested on suspicion of manufacturing marijuana extract and selling mushrooms, LSD and meth.
