san juan capistrano criminal defense attorneyThe Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors and Long Beach Police Department are offering a $10,000 reward for anyone who comes forward with information leading to the arrest and conviction of a man involved in a liquor store armed robbery.

Police say on March 24 around 8 p.m., an armed suspect entered the store located on East 7th Street and shot the owner in the torso. He grabbed cash from the register and fled the scene. Officers worked through the night to try to identify the suspect, but witness statements, evidence at the scene, and surveillance camera footage did not reveal much.

Surveillance tape from the store shows the suspect to be a black male in his teens or early 20s wearing a dark sweatshirt that says “Cali.”

The store owner remains in the hospital in critical condition. He is currently unable to walk or talk. Doctors say they are uncertain if he will recover from the injury.
