Orange County sex crime defensePolice across Orange County are working together to see if a suspect caught at the Brea Mall is responsible for a slew of indecent exposure cases in areas throughout Orange County. Authorities were concerned that the flasher was becoming more brazen in his interactions with victims.

On March 6, 45-year old Patrick Dodenhoff walked into the Brea Mall around 2:30p.m. and exposed himself to a store worker. He also made lewd comments to the woman. Police say they believe Dodenhoff has done this repeatedly in other areas where there were similar reports made, including Huntington Beach, Irvine, Laguna Hills, Mission Viejo, San Diego and Torrance.

Dodenhoff is a registered sex offender. He was released from state prison in December, and had an ankle bracelet so police could track him via GPS, but removed the bracelet in March.  Police apprehended him after a felony car stop and he was taken to Orange County Jail and held without bail.
