Orange County criminal attorneyPolice officers in Orange have arrested a man suspected of committing more than 20 robberies in California and Arizona. He was arrested April 13 after robbing a Radio Shack in Orange earlier in the month.

Investigators say 48-year-old Steven Knori stole cash and an Xbox 360 from Radio Shack. He had a gun visible during the crime and allegedly threatened store employees. Law enforcement agencies in seven different precincts had identified Knori as a suspect in at least 22 robberies. He was found in a motel in Long Beach with the weapon used in the crime.

In California, sentencing enhancements can be used in cases involving guns. Known as the “10-20-life Use a Gun and You’re Done” law (Penal Code 12022.53 PC), this mandatory minimum means you would receive 10 years in prison for using a gun during a robbery, 20 years for firing a gun during a robbery, and 25-to-life for killing or injuring someone during the course of a robbery.
