Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the rape and deaths of four women who were all last seen in Orange County last fall. Police are still searching for a fifth woman, a petite African-American woman in her early 20s, who police say disappeared in the same area.

The investigation into the men began in March, when the body of Jarrae Nykkole Estepp was found

at a Los Angeles county recycling facility. It soon became a joint effort between Santa Ana and

Police arrested Franc Cano and Steven Dean Gordon Friday, April 11, in connection with the
murders of all four women. Both men are sex offenders. Police say about three years ago, they both cut off their ankle monitors and went to Las Vegas, where they were arrested for failing to register as sex offenders. Cano has been on parole since 2008 for lewd acts with a child under 14. Gordon was on federal probation for lewd acts with a child under 14 in 1992, and a then kidnapping charge in 2002.Anaheim police departments regarding three other missing women: Josephine Vargas, 34, and Martha Anaya, 28, and 20-year-old Kianna Jackson. Although murder charges have been filed concerning all four women, only Estepp has been found so far.
