DNA Collection for DUI Results in 2001 Rape Conviction
A jury recently convicted a man of a 2001 rape with the help of DNA evidence collected from a recent DUI conviction. Raul Moreno-Perez was given a 30-day sentence in 2012 as the result of a drunk driving conviction. He was also compelled to submit a DNA sample, which helped solve the 11 year-old rape
